Check Out Policies:

  • All students may check out 2 books each week. They are due the following week.

  • Students may renew a book if they are still reading it

  • There are no fines for overdue books!

Lost Books:

  • If a book is lost, students must replace the book. Ms. Rachel will email a lost book notice with the replacement cost

      • Make checks payable to "Berkeley Unified School District" with note: Emerson Library

      • Cash can also be sent to school in a marked envelope for Emerson Library

  • Students may also donate a copy of the same book in good condition

  • If either of the above options provide a financial hardship, please let Ms. Rachel know and the student's account will be cleared!
