Policies

Check Out Policies:

• TK and K students may check out 1 book each week; they are due the following week.

• 1st - 5th grade students may check out 2 books each week; they are due the following week.

• Students may renew a book if they are still reading it!

• There are no fines for overdue books!

Lost Books:

• If a book is lost, it will need to be replaced; Ms. Rachel will email a lost book notice with the replacement cost

  • • Make checks payable to "Berkeley Unified School District" with note: Emerson Library

    • Cash can also be sent to school in a marked envelope for Emerson Library

• Students may also donate a copy of the same book in good condition 

• If either of the above options provide a financial hardship, please let Ms. Rachel know and the student's account will be cleared!
